Helpmate, Inc., a domestic violence agency in Asheville, North Carolina, seeks a Court Advocacy Coordinator. The Court Advocacy Coordinator is a full-time, exempt position. This position reports directly to the Program Director.

The Court Advocacy Coordinator provides support, counseling, and court advocacy to victims of domestic violence, as well as systems advocacy on behalf of victims of domestic violence. This position has a focus on systemic/macro-level advocacy.

Qualified candidates will have a BA or BS in human services and at least two years’ experience in domestic violence or women’s issues/human services/advocacy/social justice field. Strong communication, organizational and time management skills are required, and experience in management/supervision are preferred. Fluency in Spanish, Russian, Moldovan or Ukrainian will be incentivized.
