SAHC Employment Opportunity: Development & Communications Manager

The Development & Communications Manager is a new, full time position on the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy (SAHC) team, which will help achieve SAHC’s fundraising goals, boost community outreach through effective communications and events, and help keep the office systems humming.

SAHC is seeking an energetic self-starter who is passionate about our mission and desires to learn and advance all aspects of running our growing nonprofit land trust. The role involves diverse responsibilities with opportunity for growth.

Salary range: $50,000 – $55,000 depending on experience.

SAHC is currently a combined remote and hybrid workplace. The successful candidate for this job must live within a reasonable driving distance to SAHC’s office in Asheville, NC. This position will report to the Associate Director.

The SAHC Development & Engagement team consists of Executive & Associate Directors, Senior Philanthropy Officer, Director of Philanthropy (Major Gifts), Communications Director, Membership Director, Finance Director and the Development & Engagement Committee of the board.
