Free Mental Health Support
Free help for those impacted by Hurricane Helene.
As the immediate physical needs of those affected are being addressed, the next phase of relief will involve ongoing emotional and psychological support for those impacted.
To help meet this need, the National Association for Social Workers North Carolina in conjunction with the NC Psychological Association, the North Carolina Psychiatric Association, the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, and the NC Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, has compiled a list of mental health providers willing to offer free or sliding-scale fees for individuals affected by the hurricane.
This referral list will assist you in locating qualified mental health provider that offers pro bono or reduced fees for those affected by Hurricane Helene. If you are a client and looking for pro bono services, please indicate that when calling or emailing.
