Asheville Habitat Hosts Blueprint Breakfast for Dinner

Local chefs help build a home through creative cuisine.

Local chefs will serve up delicious breakfast-inspired dishes for dinner.

After a hurricane-induced hiatus, Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity is reinstating its signature event, Blueprint Breakfast for Dinner, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Highland Brewing.

Proceeds from this celebration of creative cuisine and craft beverages in support of one of the WNC region’s most pressing issues—housing—will help fund the construction of an affordable Green Built home in Habitat’s New Heights neighborhood.

Putting a unique spin on an evening event, local chefs will serve delicious breakfast-inspired dishes for dinner. The menu reflects different perspectives of what “home” means to each of the featured chefs:

  • Beth Kellerhals, ButterPunk
  • Eric Morris, Foothills
  • Anthony Cerrato, Gemelli
  • Mike McCarty, The Lobster Trap
  • Peter Pollay, Posana
  • Michelle Bailey, Private Chef
  • Terri Terrell, Utopian Seed Project

In addition to delicious food and craft beer, festivities will include live music from High Ground String Band along with fantastic raffle items—including a few vacation packages.

Produced by Shay & Company, additional support is provided by lead sponsors MP Huskey LLC and Wicked Weed, as well as from Fayette Brown, Cassie Dillon, Fifth Third Bank, an anonymous donor, and Terminix.

Wicked Weed Brewing Co-Founder Ryan Guthy noted, “Habitat for Humanity is doing essential work throughout western North Carolina, and Wicked Weed Brewing is immensely proud to support their mission to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Our “Beers that Build” campaign allows Wicked Weed to continue to invest in community partnerships that strengthen our communities today and for the future.”

About Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a movement of people in our local area and around the world who work together to build more prosperous and vibrant communities by making sure everyone has a safe, affordable place to call home.

Founded in 1983, Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity (AAHH) was the first Habitat affiliate in North Carolina. With support from volunteers, donors, and advocates, AAHH has helped thousands of low-income residents in Buncombe and Madison Counties achieve stable, affordable housing through our homeownership, home repair, and disaster home repair programs. Better health, education, and well-being—it all starts with home.
