City of Asheville Housing Authority Leadership Change
Rhodney Norman has been appointed as the Interim CEO.
The Housing Authority City of Asheville (HACA) Board of Commissioners recently announced that, effective immediately, Monique L. Pierre is no longer serving as President & CEO.
Pierre’s brief, 19-month tenure was marked by controversy and community dissatisfaction, so her dismissal was not unexpected.
Rhodney Norman has been appointed as the Interim CEO and will assume leadership of the organization while the Board develops the next steps in selecting HACA’s future leadership.
The Board remains committed to ensuring that HACA continues to fulfill its mission of providing safe and affordable housing to the Asheville community.
