Inspirational book by high school student Tyler Lewis.

Currently an 18-year-old senior at Erwin High School, Lewis realized he was on the wrong path in life. He was able to make a significant change only when he discovered his purpose, recognizing that it was both an inspiration and a destiny: to inspire and empower others to Become.

So when facing his own struggle with identity, he was inspired to write Word to Self, a book designed to help others discover their sense of purpose through journaling and daily affirmations.

One of the central messages of his book, and his life, is to find a leader to act as a mentor. The leader who has a proven track record also teaches the student to become a leader himself or herself. “Get leadership,” he says. “It allows you to discover and develop your true potential. A great leader is a greater follower.”

Tyler is looking forward to studying economics and business in college, and he loves to spend his downtime reading, learning, and working on his nascent business.

This young man, who once was on the wrong track, is now an author, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and philosopher. What could be more inspirational to his peers that that?
