Tuesday, September 17: A-B Tech’s Board of Trustees will conduct the final of three public forums to obtain desired qualities and characteristics for our next president. The Board appreciates the public’s interest and input. The forum will take place from 6-7 p.m. in Ferguson Auditorium on the A-B Tech campus.
An Evening with Holocaust Survivor Dr. Walter Ziffer
Friday, September 27: A-B Tech is proud to present an evening with Holocaust survivor Dr. Walter Ziffer, a former professor at UNC Asheville and author of the book, Confronting the Silence: A Holocaust Survivor’s Search for God. Join us to hear the moving and powerful account of how Dr. Ziffer, 96, managed to survive the Holocaust through the Polish and German invasions, his deportation as a teenager in 1942, survival of eight Nazi concentration and labor camps, and reconnection with his family. The event takes place from 5-8 p.m. in the Ferguson Auditorium on A-B Tech’s Asheville campus. It is free and open to the public.
