Building on more than 20 years of foundational work within the Burton Street neighborhood, Hood Huggers International, Peace Gardens & Market, and Asheville Creative Arts are partnering to create a one-of-a-kind health and business incubator coming soon to West Asheville.
Blue Note Junction is an inclusive, healing, educational, and entrepreneurial hub that will not only support the health and wealth of the local BIPOC community but also promote the spiritual, emotional, and economic health and sustainability of the entire city.
While this project was underway before Hurricane Helene devastated WNC, the need for Blue Note Junction is more apparent now than ever. By attending this event, you’ll be supporting local musicians, makers, and business owners and ensuring the resilience of the community for years to come.
Blue Note Junction is a project of Hood Huggers International. It is designed as a mixed-use, community health, and business incubator supporting the growth of local businesses and makers (particularly Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) coming soon to Burton Street in West Asheville.
It will be the first community-owned commercial real estate project in Asheville. Blue Note Junction will feature an indoor/outdoor performance venue, outdoor community spa, market, commercial kitchen, co-working & counseling center, hair salon, barber shop, artist studio village and serve as the home of Hood Tours.
