Passionately Pink for the Cure

pink_ribbon.jpgThe Christian Women of Asheville is proud to announce its first annual event. On Saturday, October 15 at Carrier Park (12 noon to 4 p.m.) we will meet for the “Passionately Pink For The Cure Walkathon.”

Everyone (men too!) is more than welcome to come and join us for a walk worth taking.

The walkathon will begin at the park shelter then we will follow the
“pink” flags around the park back to the shelter. There will be a
donation station set up for everyone’s convenience; every dollar of
support is highly and greatly appreciated.

Guest speaker will be Pastor
Inez D. Ray from God’s Ray of Hope Non-Denominational Church located at
441 N. Louisiana Avenue in Asheville, NC. She is also a breast cancer
survivor.

So everyone get your walking shoes ready, circle the date on your
calendar with a pink highlighter, call your family and friends and
please come join us, The Christian Women of Asheville Breast Cancer
Awareness Team, for our first Walkathon Event. Presented by the Outreach
Ministries of The New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 2 Herman
Street, Asheville, NC. Pastor Phyllis Martin.
