Holyfield Moving Out of Mansion
Former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield is on his way out of his Georgia mansion after the house was foreclosed upon. Moving trucks were seen outside of the home.
Holyfield owed more than $14 million on the 54,000 square foot home, which was recently sold at auction for just $7.5 million, likely a steal for someone who is ready to take over the note. The bank that bought the house let Holyfield live there for a while, but it appears that his time is up.
Holyfield has hit a series of significant financial problems in retirement. In addition to his mortgage issues, he owes hundreds of thousands of dollars to the IRS. He also owes hundreds of thousands in child support to a long list of women with whom he’s had several children. Not sure how he’s going to box his way out of this one.
