Evening Cosmetology Classes at A-B Tech Streamlined
A-B Tech Community College has restructured its evening Cosmetology program to enable students to earn a diploma in only five semesters by attending approximately 20 hours per week.
The new evening program will help students save time and money and take the licensing exam sooner.
“Cosmetology is an exciting, growing field that qualifies our graduates to work in all areas of the beauty industry,” said Tambra Luppino, Chair of Spa Therapies and Operations. “Educators, salon managers, hair stylists and make-up artists, doing events and wedding are just a few of the tremendous opportunities. Cosmetology is a great career option for creative people who want to set their own schedules and who enjoy making other people feel good about themselves.”
A-B Tech also offers an evening Esthetics Technology certificate that may be completed in only two semesters. Graduates are prepared to work in the booming field of skincare and rejuvenation in salons, spas or medical offices.
