St. James AME Potluck Dinner
Saturday, November 14
St. James AME Church, located at 44 Hildebrand St. in Asheville, will host a potluck dinner for elderly and disadvantaged community members. The dinner will be held at 1 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Menu will be the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. This event is sponsored by the St. James Women’s Missionary Society. All are welcome.
Worldwide Baptist Churches Joint Thanksgiving Service
Sunday, November 15
Mt. Carmel, Little Mt. Zion, and Richland Baptist Church will host Thanksgiving Service at Richland Baptist Church, 47 Chestnut Ridge Road in Woodfin, at 10 a.m.
Services will be rendered by Pastors James and Louis Grant, and all church choirs and the Weston Brothers Gospel Group will participate. Recording artist Angelia Moore of Weaverville will also perform. Thanksgiving dinner will be served after the service. Rev. Jack Gassaway is the pastor. All are welcome.

Sunday, November 15
Pre-Thanksgiving event will be held at the New Vision Baptist Church, 55 Shiloh Road in Asheville at 6 p.m. Rev. Ronald Sullivan, pastor of Catawba View Baptist of Old Fort, NC, and choir, will render the service. The public is invited to attend.
Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance Thanksgiving Service
Wednesday, November 25
IMA will hold a pre-Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. at WNC Baptist Fellowship, 240 Haywood Street in Asheville. The public is invited to attend.
Singing Preacher of Asheville Event
Sunday, November 29
Area ministers of different denominations will gather at St. James AME Church, 44 Hildebrand Street, Asheville at 3 p.m. to present their praises and ministries in song to the community. Rev. LaPrince Edwards is the host pastor. All are welcome to attend.
