“Explore Asheville is honored to shine a light on the trailblazing leadership and legacy of Skyview by working on building this partnership with Mr. Matthew Bacoate,” said Vic Isley, president & CEO for Explore Asheville powered by the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority.

The effort to support the legacy of Skyview aligns with Explore Asheville and the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority’s (BCTDA) strategic imperatives which ladder up to broader community priorities, including engaging and inviting more diverse audiences. The collaboration includes a sponsorship from the BCTDA Festival & Events Fund Support, a print placement in the June issue of African American Golfer’s Digest, and other marketing and PR support generating nearly 1 million impressions. This sponsorship was part of a broader marketing update in the tourism development authority’s board meeting last week.
