Tee’Ara Adams inducted into Upstate Athletic Hall Of Fame.

Tee’Ara Copney Adams has been inducted into the University of South Carolina Upstate Athletic Hall Of Fame. A 2009 graduate of TC Roberson High School, where she was a standout athlete and student, Tee’Ara earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of South Carolina-Upstate four years later.

Tee’Ara’s accomplishments include finishing her career at USC-Upstate as the second all-time scorer in minutes played with 3,616; all-time in scoring with 1,635 points; career leader in 3-point shots made with 199 attempts; career leader for steals yielding 281 successes; and being named an All-Conference selection four times and A-Sun player of the week numerous times during her career.

Tee’Ara now serves her community by teaching Physical Education at Ben Lippen Middle School in Columbia, SC. She and her husband Tony have three children, Karter, 7, Karsen, 5, and Kori Grace, two years old.
