Addiction Healing Specialist Offers Workshop in Mills River
Unity of The Blue Ridge will host special guest speaker Ester Nicholson on Sunday, March 27, 2022 during morning service at 10:30 a.m.
Recording artist, author, singer, speaker, and recovery coach Ester Nicholson will serve as guest speaker and musician for the service, which is open to all. Following the service, she will facilitate an afternoon workshop, “Healing Code of Forgiveness: Freedom from Shame and Trauma,” from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
The author of Soul Recovery—A Practice of Compassionate and Fearless Healing, Ester Nicholson is a celebrated vocalist formerly with Bette Midler and Rod Stewart. She is also a former addict who has developed a unique and powerful 12-step-informed, complementary program for healing addiction and dependence.
Her program is the result of more than a decade of development, refining a unique combination of existing recovery programs and widely accepted spiritual practices. She has shared her work in speeches, workshops, and presentations, and, most recently, in a television special on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
