As a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, I want to thank all of you for your support.

There are far too many US Military veterans, like myself, who returned home with physical, mental, and emotional injuries that have had a negative impact on our lives.
Our sacrifices have not gone unnoticed by you, the American people.
However, it appears that our sacrifices have gone unnoticed by our politicians. By eliminating the jobs of VA personnel providing desperately needed services, we veterans are put at risk of succumbing to our injuries. Eliminating jobs is not the answer to addressing waste or allegedly saving money. If there is waste, the answer is to redirect the money to better mental, physical, and emotional health programs.
Please tell your political representative to rehire the workers in the VA healthcare system and provide additional funding to support those of us who have already made a sacrifice for the United States of America.
