Moral Monday Returns on May 11, 2026
A livestream of the event will be broadcast for supporters across the country.
The next Moral Monday Peace Rally takes place on Monday, May 11, 2026, beginning at 5 p.m. in Washington, D.C.
Repairers of the Breach is organizing coordinated nonviolent Moral Monday peace-protest rallies outside the White House and Congressional offices across the country to deepen and escalate nonviolent moral resistance against the unholy and illegal war in the Middle East.
We are gathering because our nation continues to spend billions on war while people suffer at home and abroad. We stand against policy violence, abandoned communities, and the normalization of destruction. We come in disciplined, nonviolent, moral witness to call for peace, truth, justice, and the common good.
This coordinated action continues the movement’s long-standing commitment to nonviolent protest, public witness, and moral clarity in the face of policies that harm poor and low‑wealth communities.
The 2026 Moral Monday focus centers on:
- Protecting democratic participation and voting rights
- Opposing policies that deepen poverty or restrict social supports
- Calling for peace, justice, and a moral budget
- Lifting up the voices of poor and low‑wage workers
- Mobilizing faith leaders and community organizers in unified action
The Moral Monday movement—rooted in the Southern freedom tradition and known for its multiracial, multi‑faith coalitions—continues its push for moral public policy this spring with a national day of action.
Organizers are calling communities across the country to gather, bear witness, and demand a government that protects the poor, the vulnerable, and the democratic rights of all.
As of May 9, 2026, no additional Moral Monday marches or rallies are listed for June 2026. Please check Repairers of the Breach at www.breachrepairers.org for new dates.
