Moral March on Washington
Demand candidates embrace a moral agenda that includes policies that lift from the bottom.

Join us in Washington, DC on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Mass Poor People’s and Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly and March to the Polls.
The Poor People’s Campaign will urge candidates to back a moral policy agenda that prioritizes lifting people from the lowest income brackets.
According to Rev. Dr. William Barber, “We are calling on candidates for public office in 2024 and beyond to endorse a moral public policy agenda that can expand democracy to all people and the end crisis of death by poverty and low wealth, which kills 295,000 people each year.”
The Moral March on Washington will kick off a 4-month campaign to reach out to 15 million poor and low-wage voters who don’t often participate in elections.
“The biggest fear in the South has always been that black poor and low-income masses, whites, browns, Asians, Latinos, and indigenous people would come together and build a powerful voter block that could fundamentally reshape the economic architecture of the country that would be good for everyone.”
