Participants advocated for the protection of democratic institutions and the nation’s domestic social welfare systems.
On Saturday, April 5, 2025 thousands of people came out to protest Trump and Musk’s assault on our freedoms and our communities.
In Asheville the protests attracted a diverse demographic. Notably, middle-aged and older Americans—concerned about their, homes, retirement savings, Social Security, disability benefits and 401(k)s.
