Environmental Services Aide Nohemi Ramirez Robledo

UNC Health Pardee has named Nohemi Ramirez Robledo, environmental services aide with the Psychiatric Addiction Therapeutic Healing Services at Pardee (PATHS), as its Teammate of the Month.

In her role, Ramirez Robledo ensures a clean, safe environment for patients and staff while bringing steady kindness, patience, and professionalism to a unit that serves a vulnerable population.

Ramirez Robledo has been employed at Pardee for 21 years and has supported PATHS for the past nine. “I enjoy working with this patient population and seeing how they appreciate what I do. I would love to keep working here for many more years,” she said.

Colleagues describe Ramirez Robledo as diligent, dependable, and attentive to patient safety. One noted, “She never cuts corners and responds quickly when patients have additional cleaning needs. Safety is always a priority for her, and her attentiveness helps maintain a clean, calm, and secure environment for patients and staff.”

“Nohemi is quiet and doesn’t like attention, but her diligence and care make a visible difference every day,” said a nominator.

The Teammate of the Month award is given to a Pardee employee who positively contributes to achieving the organization’s mission, vision and goals. This person is selected by a committee of their peers and recognized for going above and beyond their regular duties to support patients, customers, peers, the organization, and its community. The award showcases the many different roles of keeping a health system like Pardee operating and delivering patient-centered, quality care.
