Buncombe County Services Relocated
By the end of October 2015, several Buncombe County services will have relocated:
October 12 – the County Veterans Assistance Offices will move to 199 College Street. Parking will be in the County Parking Garage located at 164 College Street in Asheville. The phone number will remain the same, 250-5726.
October 19 – the Cooperative Extension Office will open at 49 Mt. Carmel Road, Suite 20, Asheville, 28806. The phone number, 255-5522, remains the same.
October 26 – the County Vital Records Office will open at 199 College Street. Parking will be in the County Parking Garage located at 164 College Street in downtown Asheville. The phone number will remain the same, 250-5214.
October 26 and 27 – the Register of Deeds will be closed while the office moves to 205 College Street. It will reopen on October 28. Parking will be in the County Parking Garage located at 164 College Street in downtown Asheville. The phone number will remain the same, 250-4300.
WNC Air Quality offices have already relocated to 125 South Lexington Avenue, Suite 101 in Asheville. The entrance is on Hilliard Avenue in between Church Street and South Lexington Avenue. The phone number, 250-6777, has not changed.
