Voters League Holds Mayoral Forum

The League of Women Voters of Asheville-Buncombe County will conduct a public forum for Asheville mayoral candidates on Thursday, September 19 at 6 p.m. at the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce Board Room located at 36 Montford Ave. All three candidates—Esther Manheimer, John Miall, and Martin Ramsey—in the non-partisan race will attend. The primary election will be held Tuesday, October 8, for registered voters in Asheville.

The forum is free and open to the public. The forum will be moderated by WCQS News Director David Hurand and will be simulcast by the Asheville FM News Hour on AshevilleFM.org.

The League will also host an Asheville City Council candidate forum on Thursday, October 10 at 6 p.m. at the UNCA Reuter Center.
