The Asheville-Buncombe County League of Women Voters will offer a public forum regarding Asheville’s Water System. The forum is free and open to the public; come early (at 6:30 p.m.) to review background information and speak with experts. Recent articles at ashevillewater.blogspot.com.
Panelists: Esther Manheimer, Asheville City Council liaison to the legislative committee; Representative Chuck McGrady), member of the legislative committee; Dr. Gene Rainey, former chair of Buncombe County Commission; technical expertise and resource information from Asheville Water Department and Metropolitan Sewerage District.
