City of Asheville’s ARRA Public Meetings

The City of Asheville will hold two public meetings to provide information on the use and availability of Federal stimulus funding. City officials will be available to discuss how recovery funds will be used for municipal projects and community grants, including information about the Homeless Prevention Fund, Community Development Block Grants, and Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants.

There will be time for public questions and answers following the
presentation, along with an opportunity for vendors to register on the
city’s online vendor registration. The meetings are scheduled for the
following dates and locations:

May 14 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Simpson Building
– ABTECH Victoria Campus

May 21 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Haynes Building
– ABTECH Enka Campus

Attendees can park outside the building locations unless
otherwise directed. If there are questions concerning these upcoming
