Angela Bassett and Courtney B. Vance are the epitome of a power couple. Both are prolific actors who have their share of hardware.

Now, both of them have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Recently, Vance received the honor at 707 Hollywood Boulevard. His star is directly across from where Angela’s star has lain since 2008.

With a career spanning film, Broadway, and television, Vance’s lengthy body of work has earned him multiple Emmys, a Tony Award, and nominations for Grammys, Golden Globes, and SAG Awards. Vance also extended his influence beyond acting, and he and Angela own a production company.

After actress Priah Ferguson wrapped up the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, she is preparing to extend her range.

In a recent interview with Classix, the Atlanta native, who plays the sharp-witted Erica Sinclair on the hit Netflix show, opened up about the bittersweet feeling of the show coming to an end.

Having joined the cast at just eleven years old, Ferguson has grown up alongside her character. “As I grew, I think, like, Erica grew, and I got to learn more about the character and more about myself as well,” she shared.

Ferguson, now 19, is a student and a brand strategist for the Atlanta Vibe pro volleyball team in addition to searching for new roles.

Former NBA player Matt Barnes and Anasa Sims are not only back together again—they are now married. The couple hasn’t officially announced their nuptials, but leaks of the wedding appeared on social media. An Instagram user shared pics in their InstaStories.

“Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Barnes” the caption read on one of the photos. Sims was dressed in a traditional white gown while Barnes wore a classic tux.

Their reunion and marriage may be surprising, considering Sims broke off their engagement after she accused Barnes of cheating with eight different women in a single month in February 2025. Barnes expressed his regrets and admitted to his role in the breakup on his “All the Smoke” podcast.

The couple has always had a tumultuous relationship, and they’ve been dating on and off for five years. The couple were originally engaged in 2022.

Actress Tracee Ellis Ross’s production company, Joy Mill Entertainment, has entered a multi-year deal at Fox Entertainment Studios. The partnership entails a first-look deal for scripted series and overall deal for unscripted content produced by Ross’s company.

Joy Mill’s scripted offerings will span comedy, drama, and animation, with unscripted and reality formats to be developed as well. Adriana Ambriz will continue her role as head of development, having entered the role in 2020.

For Fox Entertainment, the collaboration was a no-brainer.

“Tracee is a singular force, creative, purposeful, and culturally undeniable,” said Hannah Pillemer, Fox Entertainment Studio’s head of scripted development, Allison Wallach, head of unscripted development, in a joint statement.

“Her instincts, curiosity and drive make her an exceptionally creative and prolific partner. We’re excited to team up with Tracee and Joy Mill Entertainment to create work that inspires, entertains and reflects the world through their distinctly authentic lens.”
