Singer Lizzo is finally breaking her silence about the bombshell harassment lawsuit from her ex-dancers.
Lizzo Details Being Blindsided by Sexual Harassment Lawsuit, E! News
After nearly two years out of the spotlight, Lizzo is clearing her name from the allegations against her. Recently, the singer sat down with Keke Palmer on her podcast to address the legal matter for the first, and what she says, the only time. Lozano said that she chose the platform because it gives her space to be candid, knowing that neither she nor Palmer would ‘hold back.’
In the interview, Lizzo took it back to her “career high” in August 2023, when she went from ‘living the dream’ to facing the nightmare of a lawsuit—on the heels of her first arena tour featuring dancers from the Emmy award-winning Watch Out for the Big Grrls show.
“I was literally living in my dream, and then the tour ended, and three ex-dancers just completely, like, blindsided me with a lawsuit,” she said. “I was very deeply hurt because these were three ex-dancers, so they weren’t on the tour. They didn’t finish with us. But even regardless of that, these were people that I gave opportunities to.”
Palmer asked Lizzo about the knuckle-crackling motion behind the assault claim. Lizzo said she often does that as a flute player, but the incident in the filing “never happened.” Palmer questioned the context and whether Lizzo’s behavior lacked boundaries in the interest of motioning professionalism.
“Let’s be clear, I did nothing wrong,” the singer said.
Legendary singer Patti LaBelle and her team are reportedly “angry and heartbroken” after CNN’s documentary on Luther Vandross “paints her as a villain” for speaking about the late singer’s sexuality and seemingly labeling him as gay.
Patti LaBelle reportedly painted as ‘villain’ in documentary about friend, Luther Vandross
LaBelle and Vandross were friends for decades. LaBelle even helped care for Vandross after he suffered a stroke. On July 1, 2005, Vandross succumbed to complications of a stroke at 54.
On New Year’s Day, CNN aired their highly anticipated documentary on Vandross, titled, Luther: Never Too Much. Before the premiere, sources close to LaBelle reported that she was horrified to learn that she had been poorly portrayed in the documentary as one of the people who gossiped publicly about his sexuality, something he was notably private about.
Sources told Page Six that LaBelle invited the producers behind the documentary to her home where they recorded an hour-long interview as she shared stories about her dear friend. However, the producers apparently could not include her interview because she refused to sign release forms after they failed to show her a final cut at her request.
Loyal fans of Wendy Williams have been experiencing a seemingly never-ending downward spiral of bad news that began nearly three years ago when it was announced that her long-running daytime talk show would be replaced with a new series hosted by Sherri Shepherd, followed by a very public divorce, and a battle with dementia.
Recently, Williams attended the graduation of her son, Kevin Hunter, Jr., from Florida International University in Miami.

Florida-based foodie and influencer Ronald Beasley was given access to capture the weekend’s festivities from a first-person perspective, which showed Williams fully capacitated and enjoying time with her family.
The video received wide attention after its post, and gained even more traction when Charlamagne reposted it to his Instagram account.
While the videos and photos from her son’s celebration have been encouraging, it was more than likely just a visitation approved by the courts. According to her brother, Williams is still living at an undisclosed treatment facility.
