BIG3 makes historic offer to Caitlin Clark

Ice Cube’s BIG3 basketball league offered Iowa guard Caitlin Clark $5 million to play in the 2024 season. The rap legend posted on X on March 27, 2024 to confirm TMZ’s report of the offer.

“We intended the offer to remain private while Caitlin Clark plays for the championship. But I won’t deny what’s now already out there. BIG3 made an historic offer to Caitlin Clark,” Ice Cube posted. “Why wouldn’t we? Caitlin is a generational athlete who can achieve tremendous success in the BIG3.”

Clark, who is expected to be the number one overall pick in the forthcoming WNBA draft to the Indiana Fever, would also get revenue and sponsorship and merchandise from the BIG3. If she signs, Clark would still be able to play in the WNBA since only two BIG3 games conflict with the WNBA schedule.

Halle Berry Misdiagnosis

During a candid conversation, Halle Berry recalled a painful sexual experience with a partner that led to a doctor misdiagnosis of what she called the “worst case of herpes” he’d ever seen. But the Oscar winning actress was ashamed to learn that her symptoms were perimenopausal.

On March 26, Berry took to Instagram to raise awareness of conversations about women’s health at Propper Daley’s “A Day of Unreasonable Conversations” summit, and sat down with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden to share her knowledge about menopause.

Berry recalled the painful sexual experience that led to the misdiagnosis. She and her boyfriend, singer Van Hunt, tested negative for the sexually transmitted disease and learned that her symptoms were that of perimenopause.

“My doctor had no knowledge and didn’t prepare me,” Berry explained at the summit. “That’s when I knew, ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve got to use my platform. I have to use all of who I am, and I have to start making a change and difference for other women.”

50 Cent files for custody; Daphne Joy Exposes 50 Cent

Rapper 50 Cent has reportedly filed for custody over his son, whom he shares with ex Daphne Joy, after discovering she was allegedly involved in the sext trafficking lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs. The rapper seemingly confirmed the reports.

A source reportedly shared to Us Weekly that 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, wasn’t ecstatic about Joy being linked to the messy Diddy lawsuit that was brought on by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones.

The rapper took to social media to taunt his ex, and Joy responded to the claims via Instagram stories.

“I am deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit,” she wrote. “The claim that I am a sex worker is 100% false and character assassination. I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies against Rodney and his attorney.”

Then, Joy penned a response to 50 Cent.

“Curtis James Jackson: Everything is a joke to you until our safety is compromised, which is happening now. You are wreaking real havoc, frenzy, and chaos onto people’s lives. How would you feel if Sire was the one in handcuffs? For nothing.”

She continued, “We moved to New York to give you the opportunity to be a father to your son, and you saw him 10 times out of the two years. I am tired of upholding and protecting an image for our son that you have never even earned.”

Jones sued Diddy in February, claiming that the music mogul sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened him for more than a year. Jones’s lawsuit also accused Diddy of sex trafficking multiple women. Joy, 37, was named as one of the alleged sex workers.
