Public School Strong
Public education is the foundation of a just, multiracial democracy.
Every child deserves equitable access to quality public schools that don’t discriminate.
Public School Strong leaders advocate for honest, equitable, and fully funded public education at school board meetings, with state legislators, and in other places of power. Together, these leaders visibly promote, protect, and strengthen public education so that all children benefit.
Public School Strong supports public education that respects and celebrates all identities, utilizes a rich variety of age-appropriate books, and supports every educators’ freedom to teach the truth about our past and present so students can shape a better future.
Take the Public School Strong Pledge
Parents, educators, and students around the country are organizing to strengthen our public schools so that all children can thrive.
- Advocate for honest, equitable, and fully funded public education in our communities, in our states, and nationally
- Organize to get more people involved and deepen our own learning about equity and racial justice
- Defend against those who would use divisive narratives for their own political gain–whether they are harmful narratives about people of color (Black and Indigenous people in particular), immigrants, LGBTQ people, people who are disabled, and other marginalized groups
- Build a just, multiracial democracy so that every person has the freedom to thrive
