Family Caregiver Support Program

The Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP) provides support for caregivers of frail elderly persons and grandparents or other relatives who are raising children.
The FSCP supports residents of Buncombe, Henderson, Madison and Transylvania County and its services include:
•    Information about resources to help families in their caregiver roles
•    Assistance to families in locating services from a variety of private and voluntary agencies
•    Caregiver counseling, training and peer support to help families cope with emotional and physical stress of dealing with caregiving and their loved one’s disabilities or illness

•    Respite care to enable caregivers to be temporarily relieved from
their caregiving responsibilities
