Grammy-Winning Soloists Join Asheville Symphony for Handel’s Messiah

Experience one of classical music’s most uplifting performances.

The Asheville Symphony caps its 2025 holiday season with one of classical music’s most enduring traditions: Handel’s Messiah.

Performances will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Asheville under the baton of Music Director Darko Butorac.

Celebrate the holiday season with the Asheville Symphony as they perform Handel’s Messiah alongside the Asheville Symphony Chorus and four acclaimed vocal soloists.

A cornerstone of the choral-orchestral repertoire, Messiah remains one of the most anticipated works of the season, celebrated for its emotional depth, dramatic storytelling, and the iconic “Hallelujah” chorus. This year’s performance features the Asheville Symphony Chorus alongside four acclaimed vocal soloists.

Jessica Beebe, soprano, praised by Opera News as “evocative and ethereal,” and a member of several Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated ensembles.
