Catch the sultry soul and jazz songstress for an exciting live, in-person celebratory performance, Saturday, July 17, 2021.

A skilled singer with a natural storytelling instinct, Yolanda Rabun comes out the gate stunning audiences with her endless energy, commanding vocal power, and inventiveness. Engaging and full of passion on stage, Rabun evokes a variety of genres throughout her show, from jazz and blues, to folk, pop and even gospel — noting that her main musical influences have been Nancy Wilson, Nina Simone, and Gladys Knight.

With a powerful, rich voice, Rabun has opened for and sung with iconic artists like Jennifer Holiday, Howard Hewitt, Ron Isley and the Isley Brothers, R&B singer KEM and the world-renowned iconic drummer Sheila E. Her recent TV appearances include features on UNC-TV’s Black Issues Forum “Living Her Dreams” and NBC-17’s “The Scene.”

From her home base in North Carolina, Rabun has traveled the world and earned international stardom, delivering her sultry blend of smooth jazz and soul to audiences in Japan, South Korea, Portugal, Spain, Turkey and Jordan.

Through all her success and achievements on the global stage, Rabun maintains that she is every woman: a wife, mother, businessperson and artist extraordinaire. She often says her biggest challenge is finding downtime between juggling music, acting and legal careers, motivational speaking engagements, and family life. But with her energetic personality and vivacious spirit, it is a challenge she easily overcomes.

Having graduated from a renowned performing arts high school in her hometown of Atlanta, Rabun honed her singing and stage skills from an early age. She first exploded onto the jazz scene in Stanley Baird’s 2007 hit single “I Want 2 Love You,” and, in 2011, she released her debut album, “So Real.” She has since earned herself a reputation as one of contemporary jazz and soul’s most talented, charming artists.
