Asheville
Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands
For four days each July and October, the US Cellular Center in Asheville comes alive with fine traditional and contemporary crafts. More than 200 craftspeople fill the two levels of the Center selling their works of clay, fiber, glass, leather, metal, mixed media, natural materials, paper, wood, and jewelry. RiverFest & RiverMusic
RiverMusic – Four Friday nights of free live concerts next to the French Broad River in the River Arts District of Asheville. Gates open at 5, music starts at 5:30, on June 12, July 10, September 11, and October 9. A second band plays at 6:45, and the night’s headliner at 8:15. RiverFest, featuring the Anything-That-Floats Parade, will be on August 8.

Pint Night at Highland Brewery
The Council on Aging of Buncombe County will partner with Highland Brewing Company for Community Pint Night at Highland Brewery, 12 Old Charlotte Hwy (near River Ridge Mall) on July 9 from 4-8 p.m. Proceeds will provide services, support, and information to help older adults and their families in Buncombe County.
