UNC Health Pardee Mammograms

Mammo on the Go, a Department of Pardee Hospital, is offering Mammogram screenings on Friday, February 7, 2025.

Convenient on-site mammogram screenings, state-of-the-art 3D breast imaging, and quality care from an expert team of female technologists!

When: Friday, February 7, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at UNCA Highsmith Student Union, 700 Founders Drive in Asheville.

Patient requirements for mammogram screenings include:

• Must be 40 years of age or older

• Must have a referring provider to accept results

• Must not be pregnant or currently breastfeeding

• Must not have any new breast problems or concerns

• Must not have had a mammogram in the last 12 months

• Must be able to get on and off the bus independently

How do I prepare for my mammogram?

• Bring a photo ID, insurance card(s), and the name, address, and phone number of your provider.

• Be prepared to give the facility name and location of any previous breast imaging.

• Wear a two-piece outfit so that you can easily undress above the waist.

• Do not use any deodorant, powders, lotions, or ointments.
