CoThinkk is seeking your vote for local leaders of color and allies who are playing a critical role in the social change ecosystem of western NC, working to shift narratives around communities of color.

CoThinkk celebrates the groundswell of community-led initiatives investing in our robust ecosystem of change in western North Carolina that are committed to collaboration and not competition. Since its inception in 2016, CoThinkk has profiled 158 community nominated leaders and celebrated 61 community-chosen awardees.

“Leaders in our region continue to move some of the most innovative strategies to address complex social change. Their passion, commitment, and courage to drive transformational work is undeniable and access to critical resources can further amplify their efforts,” says CoThinkk founder Tracey Greene-Washington.

CoThinkk will award eight total awards: four community leadership awards, two next generation awards (21 and under), and two highlighting community allies.

At its core, CoThinkk focuses on systems change work by shifting mental models and acting as a positive disruptor. CoThinkk is a social change philanthropy organization specifically designed to create supportive networks, accelerate systemic change, and seed new initiatives through a shared leadership model that is working to shift the narrative and mental models regarding communities of color in Western North Carolina.

Access to resources is an essential component to support robust social change that has enough traction and sustained momentum to generate equitable outcomes and impact.

The CoThinkk community leadership award recipients will be announced at CoThinkk’s annual event.
