Mt. Zion Celebrates Pastoral Anniversary and Groundbreaking

Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church recently celebrated the 26th pastoral anniversary of Rev. Dr. John H. Grant with a weekend of events, culminating on Sunday October 4, 2015.

On the same day the church celebrated the long-awaited groundbreaking ceremony for its new education building.

“We’re not just breaking ground and building buildings,” said Dr. Grant. “The mission of the church is to worship God, make disciples, and holistically minister to the needs of our church community by providing healthcare, food, clothing, as well as a social justice advocacy and ministry locally, nationally and world-wide,” he concluded.
