Let’s Do This!

A couple of months ago, I wrote an article titled “So Much Badness.”

Little did I know that the badness was only going to get worse. The lawlessness of our federal government is mindboggling. Then, the blizzard of lies to justify the unjustifiable. If you are a moral American, America seems to be completely rotten.

Well, the White House has posted a video of apes. The faces of the apes have been replaced with the faces of Michelle and Barack Obama. This is no accident; it was not done by a staffer behind his back. We know that whoever posted the video did so with full knowledge of Donald J. Trump because we know that Trump is a control freak, just as we know that Trump is a racist. This is not open for debate.

Following outrage from both the Left and the Right, the video was removed. I suspect that Trump wanted this uproar. He wanted this spectacle as just another distraction from the Epstein files (see below) and his terrible performance on the economy. I don’t think that we needed further proof that Trump is a racist. We have known this for decades.

Thank God for Video

If it weren’t for video, we would have had to believe the government narrative. We were told that Renée Good tried to kill an ICE officer with her car, and he defended himself by shooting her at point-blank range. We were told that Alex Pretti was a domestic terrorist and was trying to harm ICE agents. The ICE agents were just defending themselves when they shot him in the back multiple times.

But the video tells a completely different story. Renée Good seems to have been trying to comply with ICE commands by moving her car out of the middle of the street when an ICE agent shot her. The worst part of the whole ordeal is that ICE didn’t provide any CPR, and they prevented a doctor who was a bystander from rendering aid.

Alex Pretti was an ICU nurse—a dedicated caregiver who worked at the Veterans Administration hospital, caring for soldiers and patriots who served their country. At the demonstration in Minneapolis, he seemed to be protecting a woman who was being pushed around—and allegedly tear-gassed—by ICE.

For his trouble, he got pepper-sprayed and wrestled to the ground. He told the ICE agents that he had a registered, licensed concealed weapon. One ICE agent took his gun. Another agent walked around Pretti, who was lying face down on the concrete. He was then shot by the ICE agent.

He wasn’t a threat to anyone. He was disarmed and on the ground. Several agents had him pinned down. He wasn’t fighting back. Another agent fired several bullets into Pretti while he was lying on the ground bleeding. Once again, no one tried to render aid.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that America has been shocked and outraged by these killings. This reaction may be similar to what happened after the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, in September 1963, which killed four Black girls aged 11 and 14 (3 of the girls were 14), or the use of attack dogs on peaceful marchers across the Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, in March 1965.

Following these attacks, America was shaken out of its indifference to the civil rights movement. Now, in Minneapolis, two white Americans were murdered for no reason, and America saw it all because of cellphone video.

ICE

I have a question. Why do ICE agents have guns? According to ICE’s records, only 5% of arrested individuals have prior violent-crime records. So, I’ll ask again, why do these guys have guns? It would seem that if they are confronted by a violent criminal, they could call for backup from the police. Alternatively, they could have a specialized squad of ICE agents who are trained to handle guns and violent criminals. To me, it’s clear from the videos that these ICE agents have no idea how to de-escalate the situation.

Gestapo

Some people seem to be comparing the actions of ICE to the Gestapo. As you know, the Gestapo was the secret German police during World War II. I’m not sure that’s the correct analogy.

ICE agents are wandering the streets. They are grabbing people who don’t “look” American. They are arresting refugees at immigration hearings, in schools, and at work. They are arresting those who are here legally and illegally. They are causing fear and chaos. ICE is the direct descendant of the Slave Patrols.

Slave Patrols were started in the early 1700s, before America became a nation. Slave patrols were written into state law. They had authority to go anywhere and arrest, detain, or kill anyone who was harboring runaway slaves—or anyone helping slaves organize for the dreaded rebellion. This is ICE.

Pizzagate

Do you remember “Pizzagate”? This was a massive conspiracy theory that was perpetrated by conservatives. Hillary Clinton and other “Liberal Elites” ran a child sex trafficking scheme out of a pizza parlor in Washington, DC. The conservatives played this up constantly as a way to discredit Hillary Clinton and prevent her from a successful bid for the White House.

Unfortunately—but not surprisingly—some people took the rumors seriously. Twenty-eight-year-old Edgar Maddison Walsh decided that somebody had to do something about this awful, heinous crime.

Armed with an AR-15 as well as a .38 revolver, he drove from North Carolina to DC and went through the Comet Ping Pong restaurant, occasionally firing his weapon through locked doors as he searched for hidden tunnels and secret rooms.

What did he find? A garden-variety pizzeria. There were no hidden rooms. There were no children chained to the floor. There was just cheese and dough. Thankfully, nobody was hurt, and Mr. Walsh has been arrested and convicted.

But it seems that there was a cabal of rich white men who apparently ran, or benefited from, a sex trafficking scheme. It was led by Jeffrey Epstein.

Before the release of over 3 million pages of the “Epstein Files,” we knew that Epstein was associated with a long string of very influential and powerful men, including Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, former governor of New Mexico Bill Richardson, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, billionaire Glenn Dubin, billionaire Leslie Wexner, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz, musician David Copperfield, and disgraced actor Kevin Spacey.

Although these men were “associated” with Epstein, that does not mean that they are guilty of any of his crimes. Yet the most frequently mentioned individuals in the Epstein files are Ghislaine Maxwell (his accomplice), Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump, which warrants consideration. All of these people were innocent? Not one accepted Epstein’s “party favor”?

The Epstein Victims’ Compensation Program was started to pay some restitution to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein. Before the fund closed in 2021, it paid out 150 claims. 150 women. There were probably more that didn’t come forward. It is hard for me to imagine that Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell are the only two people who committed prosecutable crimes.

Harris Aftermath

A new analysis done by the Cook Political Report investigated the 2024 election and why Kamala Harris lost. In fact, there is no mystery. Men. She lost almost every single category of men. She lost men overall. Compared to 2020, she lost Latino men by 12 percentage points. She lost Black men by seven percentage points. Women didn’t turn out for Kamala Harris as expected. More young voters voted Republican. All these factors together are why Kamala Harris lost the 2024 election.

Georgia

In case you haven’t noticed, Georgia is a key battleground state. In the center of the state is Atlanta, which is a huge population center—it has a large Black population and votes overwhelmingly Democratic. The remainder of the state is rural and conservative. The FBI just raided the Fulton County election hub. They seized everything—ballots, voter rolls, everything.

Personally, I don’t think this has much to do with the 2020 election. Instead, I think it has everything to do with the 2026 election. I think Trump and his cronies are going to try to find a way to throw 10,000 or 20,000 Fulton County (Atlanta) voters off the rolls. Fulton County is the key, and Trump knows it.

The Time Is Now

If you believe in the rule of law, you need to act now. If you believe in apple pie, baseball, and Chevy, it is time for you to roll up your sleeves and get to work. We need to organize, like they are doing in Minnesota. We have so much going against us. Trump will try to intimidate us with ICE agents—and who knows what other armed, masked people—at polling places. We need to show up in force to vote.

If you believe in the Constitution, the time is now. If you believe that doctors should be in charge of healthcare and not a conspiracy-filled lawyer with a gravelly voice, then it is time for you to stand up. If you believe in honor, duty, and sacrifice, it is time to sign up. Everyone must do something to put our country back on the path toward ensuring that everyone has a voice. Everyone is valued.

Despair is not an option. Let’s do this!
