Choose to Be Kind
Join me in showing love and judging less.
By Ebony Emerson –
As the world struggles to figure everything out, I’ll be holding doors for strangers.
You’ll find that I am letting people cut in front of me in traffic, saying good morning, keeping babies entertained in grocery lines, and stopping to talk to folks who are lonely.
I will be tipping generously, calling folks by the name on their name tags, and giving children a thumbs-up. I will also take time to share food as often as I am provided the opportunity.
Be patient with sales clerks. Why not buy a total stranger a cup of coffee, wave at police, and smile at passersby?
I will not stand idly by and live in a world where unconditional love is invisible. Join me in showing love and judging less. Find your own way to swing the pendulum in the direction of love and kindness.
Be kind to a stranger today and everyday. They may just turn out to be a friend you haven’t yet met. Call it payback for any kindness shown to you in the past.
