Stop the Storm and Get Out to Vote!
More people die after a storm than during the storm.

We are close to an impending “Democracy” storm!
In comparison, many of us have never lived to see our human rights taken away. Eyes have not seen, nor have ears heard the crying and expressions of pain that will be experienced if we don’t get out and vote!
If we fail to vote in the upcoming midterm general election, it will be the greatest storm that we’ll see in our lifetime. Failing to vote will be a game changer that will affect our lives for generations to come.
Without our (your) vote, this upcoming election can have apocalyptic effects on a woman’s autonomous right to choose, and on human rights, voting districts, selection of judges to fight crime, appellate courts, affordable housing, property taxes, inflation, public education and schools districts, living wages, the cost of food, social-security, religious freedoms, medical care/support (especially prescription medicine), child care, transportation costs, and military requirements.
If we close our eyes and do not exercise our right to vote, we are giving up hope and disrespecting all of those whose shoulders we stand on…our ancestors who fought for the right to vote, our fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, educators, doctors, and lawyers. This will be a satanic dream and prediction come true from the monster in the dark just waiting to be reborn.
If ever we needed a Judge Judy, church folks and the clergy’s involvement, we need it now. We don’t need them to tell us who to vote for, we simply need for them to encourage people to get out and vote. Remember, the revolution will not be televised.
I pray that we will not have to wake up with the results of people who believed their vote did not matter—every vote counts.
