The East End Neighborhood has been ignored for decades.

As Asheville is in the midst of a Reparations process to expose and heal the harms done to the black community, this community was finally heard by the Asheville City Council.

Councilwoman Antanette Mosley initiated a resolution binding the City of Asheville to fully fund the restoration of this historic and vital community space.

A promise was made. It will be kept.
