Coronavirus (COVID-19) Cases Update September 2020

Buncombe County Lab Confirmed Cases

As of 12:16 p.m. on September 27, 2020 there were 3,050 positive cases of COVID-19 in Buncombe County residents and 83 COVID-19 related deaths. A total of 70,981 tests have been administered.

A new NCDHHS app, SlowCOVIDNC, is notifying users of exposure to the virus. Help slow the spread, protect yourself, your loved ones and your community, simply by using your phone.

The state also has a “Find My Testing Place” website with up-to-date information about testing locations in NC.
