Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Collects Supplies for Veterans

Beta Lambda Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. recently presented the VA Hospital in Asheville with a donation of toiletries.

As part of the organization’s national initiative, Zetas Helping Other People Excel (Z-HOPE), over 800 items were collected to help veterans meet their basic needs.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is a service organization founded on the campus of Howard University in 1920. Nearing its Centennial year, the members continue to exhibit the ideals upon which it was founded, Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Beta Lambda Zeta chapter has a rich history in the Asheville community since its chartering over 70 years ago. The chapter is led by President Sarah Hart, and comprises a diverse group of professional women. The chapter’s signature program is an annual Debutante Ball.
