Asheville Federation of Negro Women’s Club Host Annual Event

The Asheville Federation of Negro Women’s Clubs held its annual Pink Tea and fashion show on March 28, 2016 at the Friendship Community Center.

Ms. Marrasia Demory-Payton was crowned “Lil Miss Federated Lady” of 2016. Marrasia attends Asheville City Preschool and is the daughter of Ms. Dechristen Demory.

The Federation of Negro Women’s Clubs supports education, scholarships, youth clubs, and North Carolina Council of Women’s Organizations.

Marrasia’s family expressed their gratitude to the Asheville Federation of Negro Women’s Club for the honor and for their support in the Asheville-Buncombe and surrounding communities.
