The Influence of Ethical Culture at the United Nations
“The Influence of Ethical Culture at the United Nations” will be the topic at the April 19 meeting of the Ethical Society of Asheville, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the Botanical Gardens Visitor Center, 151 W.T. Weaver Blvd.
The meeting will be followed by a discussion period and informal conversation. Martha Gallahue, an interactive psychoanalyst in private practice, will speak about how growth in the Ethical Culture movement can be of value in the U.N.
Ms Gallahue is the main U.N. representative of the American Ethical
Union’s National Service Conference and the newest clergy leader
approved by the AEU. She serves on the Executive Council of the
Conference of Non-Government Organizations’ Committee on Spirituality,
Values, and Global Concerns, where she founded the Universal Ethics
