Rev. Barber Leads Voting Organizing Tour in Asheville
If we ever needed to vote for democracy and justice, we need to vote now!
Bishop William J. Barber, II, spoke at a get-out-the-vote rally in Asheville on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ.
With early voting underway, students, advocates, and poor and low income voters gathered to participate in the rally and protect their voting rights.
“North Carolina has an opportunity to determine the makeup of the US House of Representatives and Senate, and can show the nation how to fight against extremist state legislatures,” said Rev. William Barber.
