- Wait at least 6 feet apart when in line
- Wear a face covering
- Wash your hands regularly
The purpose of face coverings is to reduce your chance of transmitting the virus to others. Wearing face coverings in public is a sign of caring and compassion.
The Board of Commissioners approved requiring the use of face coverings for indoor public facing businesses such as retail stores and restaurants, effective Tuesday, May 26, 2020. This requirement is for Asheville and unincorporated Buncombe County only.
If you have symptoms, or are a close contact of someone who has tested positive you can get tested.
