State Party Chair to Address Buncombe County Democrats
Buncombe County Democrats’ annual fundraiser takes place February 28, 2026.
NC State Democratic Party Chairwoman Anderson Clayton will be the keynote speaker at the Buncombe County Democrats’ annual fundraiser, the BCDP 2026 Victory Kickoff.
The event will take place at the Crowne Plaza Resort on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
Clayton, who just turned 28 in January, has developed a national reputation at the forefront of a new generation of political party leaders. First elected at only 25 in 2023 and reelected in 2025, she is the youngest chair of a major political party in the country.
Anderson brings fire and enthusiasm to her role, and her public speaking has been described as “making you proud to be part of the fight for our rights and our democracy.”
