The Lifetime two-part documentary Where is Wendy Williams? is casting doubt on Williams’s care during filming as producers and members of Williams’s camp place blame on each other.

Former Williams publicist Shawn Zanotti slammed the documentary’s producers in a recent NBC News interview.

“I felt that (Williams) was being exploited,” Zanotti told NBC News, “She thought we were focusing on the comeback of her career… She would be mortified. There’s no way you can convince me that she would be okay with looking and seeing herself in that way.”

Zanotti told NBC News that in 2022, she was first pitched a follow-up to Wendy Williams: What a Mess! another Lifetime documentary full of revelations including her life after splitting from ex-husband Kevin Hunter, Sr. The same production company that produced What a Mess produced the recent documentary. However, Zanotti says the project shifted amid Williams’s publicized health issues in recent years.

If you ask Williams’s brother Tommy how she’s doing, he’d tell you that she’s improving.

“When I speak to Wendy, she sounds fine,” Willams shared with InTouch Weekly. “Wendy has improved. I know my sister from where she was to where she is now, and she has a substantial amount of improvement. It’s dialogue and conversation, topics, content speech pattern, everything.”

Tommy added that the 59-year-old former talk show host hasn’t exhibited “past behaviors” that were featured in the docuseries. “She was in a worse state, and the (documentary) depicted it. Now, she’s in a different state.”

Two women have filed a lawsuit against legendary R&B singer Jeffery Osborne and the Greek Theater, the venue of his recent concert.

According to court documents obtained by People, the two women, Danielle Buchanan and Maneva Currie, claimed that Osborne, 75, intentionally inflicted emotional harm on them during his show in Los Angeles. According to the suit, the alleged incident occurred during Osborne’s concert last May when he requested assistance from the audience to sing his 1986 hit “You Should Be Mine (The Woo Woo Song).”

Osborne’s team selected Buchanan to sing a portion of the song into the mic while the camera focused on her, projecting her face on two large screens flanking the stage.

The situation took a turn when Osborne allegedly requested a “white person” to sing with him, prompting Buchanan, who is white, to announce her ethnicity into the microphone in an attempt to diffuse the situation. Despite her efforts, Osborne’s team took the microphone and sought out another participant, leaving Buchanan and Currie feeling “shocked, embarrassed, and humiliated.”

The complaint details how the women were subjected to comments from other audience members regarding Osborne’s alleged discriminatory behavior, exacerbating their distress and preventing them from enjoying the remainder of the concert.

Actress Keke Palmer appears to have moved on from her ex and the father of her child, Darius Jackson. A recent sighting of Palmer and Miami Dolphins star Duke Riley has led to speculation that the two are dating, according to “Radar Online.”
