Rapper M.I.A. accused Jay-Z recently of pressuring her to get plastic surgery. On an Instagram Live segment, the Paper Planes artist argued about how some unspecified people claimed that she is insecure.

“I’m not insecure because I would have got plastic surgery. So their argument of Maya’s (expletive) insecure, that’s why she needs to (expletive) massage her ego, fails. It fails because you turn around and ask those (inaudible) what women do you know who hasn’t had plastic surgery around you? All of them have. I’m the only one who didn’t which already proves the fact that it’s not insecurity.”

It isn’t clear who M.I.A was referring to in the clip. However, she suggested that she would have gone under the knife had she lacked confidence.

“Because if I was insecure, I would have done that (surgery) 100 times over,” she said. “Even when I met Jay-Z and signed to Roc Nation, the first thing he told me to do is get plastic surgery and I didn’t because it’s okay.”

Roc Nation signed the British-Sri Lankan rapper in 2012. She left two years later after label disputes.

Actress Draya Michele was in court recently after sheriffs came to her home and tried to lock her out. According to In Touch magazine, Michele is battling her boyfriend, NFL Quarterback Tyrod Taylor, over the Los Angles property.

According to court documents, officers came to Michele’s home in Chatsworth, CA on Nov. 20. The former reality star said she received an “alarming phone call from her children’s nanny while she was away on a business trip that the sheriffs were at the subject’s property to lock the occupants out.”

Michele called her lawyer, who drove over to the house to stop the sheriffs and prevent her from being locked out.

The actress recalled that this was when she learned Taylor’s company had filed an eviction lawsuit against her, of which she was unaware.

Allegedly, Taylor received permission to serve his ex the papers, which would suggest he did not violate any law. Michele claimed she didn’t receive the documents.

Tennis legend Serena Williams hasn’t been looking like herself lately. There’s been accusations from social media of skin bleaching. Williams took to Instagram Live recently to set the record straight, addressing the rumors that surfaced after a video showing her appearing with a lighter complexion at an event for her daughter, Olympia.

During a makeup tutorial, Williams addressed the speculation and the rumors.

“And then I put that neutral color, that is actually my skin color, and no, for you haters out there, I do not bleach my skin,” she said as she applied concealer under her eye according to a clip posted by LiveBitez. “There is a thing called sunlight, and in that sunlight, you get different colors,” Williams continued.
