During an episode of The Surreal Life, Gray revealed to former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak and ice skater Johnny Weir that she was struggling to lose weight and her experiences with the medication.

“My stomach hurts. I’ve just been really constipated,” Gray said of her side effects. “I took Ozempic and I can’t go to the bathroom. I was up all night.”

Common side effects of the injectable medication prescribed to people suffering from Type 2 diabetes include nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, and constipation.

Gray, mostly known for her hit song “I Try”, said she felt the pressure to lose weight because of her appearance on the 2022 season of MTV’s hit reality series.

“Quietly, I’m kind of a vain person. I gained a lot of weight over the past couple years, and this is right about the time when everybody starts talking about this Ozempic,” she explained. “So I thought, okay, I’m not taking the weight off the right way. Let me see if I can get one of these Ozempic [devices]. I was actually trying to take it off (the weight) before the show because I didn’t want to be super fat on TV.”

Gray isn’t the only star struggling on the drug. Actor and comic Tracy Morgan admitted to taking the medication, and while it worked at first, the 55-year-old later packed on the pounds.

Singer Latto admitted during a conversation with fans recently that she had some regrets about getting a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), a popular cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the shape and size of the butt by removing excess stomach, thigh, and flank fat.

The “Big Energy” singer revealed that she gained weight when she signed her first record deal. With newfound fame, Latto indulged in top-notch foods. Her weight gain became an issue when it attracted criticism from online bullies.
