A Look at Entertainment

Two Atlanta strippers were robbed at gunpoint, losing at least $10,000 they had earned after dancing during the 2023 BET Awards weekend.

Security footage showed the two women approaching a hotel, dragging suitcases. The footage showed one woman in a green tracksuit texting and walking out of the frame. Seconds later, the other woman in a hoodie with a pink suit case turned and backed away from an armed robber moving toward her. She relinquished the suitcase to the robber, who turned his attention to the woman in the green tracksuit.

Under the name Ace Notorious, the lady in the green tracksuit clarified some things on Instagram.

“I was contemplating whether or not I wanted to post this ’cause clearly [expletive] watching, but this happened Monday morning at 5:25 a.m. after me and Maiya (the girl with the pink suitcase) worked so hard Sunday night and all of BET weekend to get robbed for everything we had,” she wrote. “That night alone, we made about $10k and they followed us home from work. In that moment, I literally wasn’t scared. I was smiling, ’cause one, I thought it was a joke, and two, I was like wow every bread we worked hard for the weekend just gone. That wasn’t a traumatizing experience for me. It was just more stressful.”

Michael Jordan doesn’t approve of his son Marcus’s relationship with reality TV star Larsa Pippen.

The Basketball Hall of Famer and arguably the greatest player of all time made his opinion known recently as he left Matignon, a restaurant and club near the Champs Élysées in Paris. Jordan laughed and responded to TMZ’s paparazzi with a resounding “No!” When asked if he approved of his 32-year-old son dating the 48-year-old reality star. No. 23 had no comment on the photographer’s follow up question regarding whether Marcus and Larsa would marry. Larsa’s divorce from Jordan’s former teammate Scottie Pippen was finalized in January 2022—three years after their split.

Rumors about Larsa and Marcus’ relationship have swirled since September. The RHOM star made their relationship Instagram official in February.

Shaquille O’Neal

Shaquille O’Neal doesn’t want his sons to make the same mistakes that he did when it comes to women. The Lakers great doesn’t want his sons to fumble the great loves of their lives.

O’Neal shared the important love lessons he’s given his sons Sharif and Shaquir during the first episode of singer Monica Denise’s MoTalk Radio podcast.

When speaking with his sons, O’Neal emphasizes the importance of men implementing “PPL” with the important women in their lives.

“Protect, provide, and love,” the basketball Hall of Famer said. “Some men can only offer two for whatever reason, but I’m going to teach you how to offer all three. And that’s what I try to do.”

O’Neal said that his approach works because while his ex-wife, Shaunie, isn’t in his life anymore, he still practices his mantra.

“Even thought I don’t have a relationship with the women I let get away, I will always PPL—protect, provide, and love. Whatever they need they get it from me.”

Netflix has reportedly warned Meghan Markle and Prince Harry regarding the couple’s future ability to cash out on their business deal.

A source informed The Sun that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wouldn’t get the remainder of their $100 million deal they’re supposed to from the streaming service. The former senior members of the royal family have reportedly received a little over half of the sum agreed on in the deal.

Another source told The Sun recently that Netflix may not renew the contract because the streamer’s executives think “the lemon has been fully squeezed.”

The couple’s six-part Netflix doc was the streaming giant’s most-viewed documentary.
